THERE was a standoff between police and boda boda operators in Kakamega town on Friday in a crackdown on traffic offenders in Kakamega County. The operators resisted arrest by two police officers and threatened to beat them up, accusing police of harassing and extorting money from them under the pretext of a crack down on unlicensed motorbikes and threatened to beat them up.
