THE Kisii county government has approved Sh360 million for the improvement of the region’s road network to spur economic growth. The county government will build a 225km of compacted murram standard roads in the current financial year with each of the 45 wards getting a three kilometre road. Roads executive Fredrick Omwoyo said tenders for the road projects are being analysed and construction work is expected to begin in the next two weeks.
