ODM officials in Kakamega have differed over the purported endorsement of Governor Wycliffe Oparanya to contest the deputy party leader position in the the February 28 party elections. Branch chairman David Malala and party director for strategy and policy Nabii Nabwera told journalists after a consultative meeting that the branch had unanimously agreed to front Oparanya for the seat.
