The director of E-Smart College in Mumias district has cautioned students against fake colleges in the region. Geoffrey Anyembe said students seeking to join vocational training institutes should beware of uncertified institutions. He said most of the new colleges in the district are not registered under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Act No 29 of 2013. Speaking in his office on Tuesday, Anyembe said parents should confirm with the Ministry of Higher Education to identify registered institutions.
