A child's body was found under the bed in their house at Musemwa village in Likuyani subcounty on Thursday. Likuyani police chief Meshack Kiptum said the girl is a standard six pupil at Musemwa Primary school. Her mother reportedly left her t home to take care of the other children . Kiptum said the girl may have been suffocated by a piece of mattress stuffed in her mouth. He said the girl's step sister is a suspect in the ongoing investigations.
