The Anglican Church of Kenya Archbishop Eliud Wabukala has condemned a recent move by counties to tax bereaved families. Speaking during the burial ceremony of his brother-in-law Jackson Mukhwana in Mayekwe village in Sirisia on Sunday, Wabukala said though counties are looking for ways to increase revenue, they should not be inhuman. “The Anglican Church strongly opposes such bills, they are not only inhuman and immoral but also an abuse to devolution," he said.
