THE Luhya Elders’ Advisory Council will summon top community politicians to discuss the region’s presidential bid in the 2017 general elections. Secretary Barua Chele said they will meet UDF leader Musalia Mudavadi, Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula, Federal Party leader Cyrus Jirongo, former Speaker of the National Assembly Kenneth Marende and Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale between February 6 and 7 at a venue to be identified later. “We want these sons of ours to tell us plans they have for the community ahead of 2017 elections.”
