THE Kisumu government has disbursed Sh35 million of the Sh100 million allocated to pay school fees for bright needy students. Finance executive Joseph Omulo Okal said each ward will receive its first tranche of Sh1million. Speaking yesterday in his office, Okal said the county government has a scholarship form that will enable the county to evaluate deserving students. “We focus on bright, vulnerable and orphaned children,” he said.
