Kuria West MP Mathias Robi has accused Migori governor Okoth Obado of locking the Kuria community out of employment opportunities. On Monday Robi and seven MCAs from his constituency led angry residents to demonstrate against Obado at Kehancha town. The demonstrators accused Obado of giving them a raw deal even after the community voted him in overwhelmingly. The leaders said that out of 16 slots for directors and 12 slots for county CEO, the community only got two positions each far cry from regional balance in allotment.
