A fertiliser production plant in Bungoma is poised to give the local horticultural industry a boost with supplies of magnesium sulphate fertiliser. The plant is set to reduce reliance on foreign imports. Pan African Chemicals based in Webuye Town produces 800 metric tonnes of magnesium sulphate fertiliser every month. The product is used in vegetable and flower production, the firm's general manager Swami Nathan said yesterday.
