Kisii MCAs walk out on bill debate

NomiNated Kisii county MCAs yesterday walked out of the assembly over alleged humiliation. the MCAs were unhappy when the House refused to adopt an amendment to the Ward development Bill 2014 tabled by Bassi Central ward representative Henry Moracha. The amendment raised by Bomorenda ward representative John ombati sought to have 13 out of the 15 per cent of annual allocation go to wards.He suggested that the remain- ing percentage be allocated to nominated MCAs.
