THE scouts movement in Busia county faces financial diffioculties to register new groups. County scouts commissioner Symplisius Wasendwa said many groups cannot raise Sh500 registration fee to the Kenya Scouts Association. He said the recent move by the national government to waive registration fees will increase the number of scout groups in counties. Wasendwa was addressing scouts in Butula subcounty on Saturday. County training commissioner Joseph Isheri said the County government has donated an acre of land in Mauko village to the scouts movement.
