MORE than 5,000 traders in Muhoroni subcounty have threatened to boycott paying taxes due to lack of proper market facilities. Muhoroni Chamber of Commerce Chairman Felix Minda said taxes have been hiked despite the filth in Muhoroni town. He said garbage remains uncollected posing a great health risk. Minda said traders do not get value for their taxes. “We can’t pay taxes because there are insufficient market facilities which are also in pathetic conditions,” Minda said.
