Long-serving public administrator Murumba Chiuli has taken over as the new Bungoma county secretary. He takes over from Juma Matsanza, who was posted to Bungoma as the county coordinator by the Transitional Authority but has been doubling up as the secretary since the exit of Musyoka Nyamai in July last year. Nyamai was rejected by county workers on grounds he was grossly inefficient.
