THE Kisumu county government and Lions Club International Foundation is set to build a Sh280 million ultra-modern eye hospital. County Director of Communication Merita Ombuor said the construction tendering process had been finalised. She said the construction and equipping the eye facility will cost Sh140million and Sh40million respectively. Ombuor said the facility will enable the residents to access specialised eye services at a subsidised cost.
