Kisumu East farmers told to pick fertiliser

The Kisumu East District commissioner has asked residents to collect subsidised fertiliser from the National Cereals and Produce Board local depot. Moses ole Tutui said an individual can access up to 40 bags of fertiliser depending on the size of their farm. Speaking in his office yesterday, Tutui said committees have been formed in every location to spearhead the distribution. “Every location has a five-member committee headed by the chief,” he said.
