The Commission for the Implementation of Constitution has cautioned MPs and senators against using accountability as an excuse to undermine devolution. Chairman Charles Nyachae told members from the two Houses to demand accountability from both the county and the national governments. “The county and national governments must both be held accountable to any misuse or misappropriation of the taxpayers’ money,” Nyachae said.
