KAKAMEGA Governor Wycliffe Oparanya has been asked to suspend implementation of the controversial county Finance Act until consensus is reached on sustainable fees and charges. Lugari MP Ayub Savula on Wednesday said the Act should be shelved for six months to allow consultations with all stakeholders. Savula said a meeting between the county executive, members of the county assembly and MPs should be organised for the stakeholders to agree on what charges are sustainable in the county.
