A police officer and his friend were attacked on Thursday at Mwamba village in Lugari subcounty. Sergeant Janet Musasia, who is commanding Mwamba AP camp, and Edith Amadi were taking an evening stroll. The administration officer in charge, Joshua Saima, said they have not established why Patrick Sakwa attacked the two with a machete. “He cut the officer and the friend several times inflicting them grievous bodily harm,” he said.
