Members of County Assembly have said they deserve car grants like MPs and senators. Nyamira county majority leader Beauttah Omanga criticised those opposed to President Uhuru’s announcement that they deserve car grants. President Uhuru last week said the MCAs will get car grants. “Some people including MPs are opposed to us getting car grants. We are challenging them to surrender mileage claims, hefty allowances they get and half the money they get for car grants,” Omanga said on Monday.
