1,867 TB cases in Kisii last year

KISII County recorded 1, 867 TB cases last year, Health executive Sarah Omache has said. She said six per cent of the cases were children. Omache speaking at Isamwera in Bonchari subcounty during the World TB Day celebrations on Monday. He said 17 cases were multi-drug resistant tuberculosis. Omache said Nyamache subcounty recorded the highest cases MDR cases standing at 8, followed by Kisii 3, Marani and Kisii South which recorded 2 cases.
