Dennis Akumu's wife unveils Sauti ya Raia party in Kisumu

NYAKACH constituency politician Grace Akumu has unveiled a new political party called Citizen’s Convention Party, whose slogan is ‘Sauti ya Raia’. The CCP party leader, Grace, said the aim of the party is to champion democracy and well-being of Kenyans. Akumu contested Nyakach parliamentary seat in 2013 and lost to MP Aduma Owuor. She is the wife of former Cotu secretary general Dennis Akumu.
