FUNYULA MP Paul Otuoma has called on Education Secretary Jacob Kaimenyi to address the shortage of teachers in schools. Otuoma, who was addressing education stakeholders at Nanderema Secondary School yesterday, said there is urgent need for the Ministry of Education to recruit more teachers. He said high enrollment in public primary schools has led to congestion with teachers being forced to handle more than 40 pupils in a class. “There is acute shortage of teachers in Samia subcounty.
