One Hen campaign Project based at Keroka in Kisii has started another project dubbed "One Hen Egg Collection Centre" where poultry farmers supply it with a minimum of 15 eggs every month at Sh13 per egg. The project's CEO James Makini said they came up with the initiative to save farmers from exploitation by middlemen. Makini said out of the Sh13, farmers will be given Sh12 and the remaining shilling will go into the end-year bonus kitty.
