Barmaid shot dead by jilted AP officer

A 30-year-old barmaid from Ruambwa sublocation, Bunyala subcounty was yesterday shot dead by her former lover. Cynthia Borino died and three patrons sustained injuries when an AP officer stormed into the bar and started shooting. The patrons said officer Philip Okisai, based at Bun- yala subcounty headquar- ters, entered the bar through the backdoor at around 9pm. “The officer was in full uniform and armed with a G3 rifle.
