HUNDREDS of Vihiga subcounty residents received free medical services organised by the county government. County director of Medical Services Dr Quido Ahindukha said residents were mainly treated for malaria and typhoid. “This is malaria season in the area and those suffering from the disease were many,” Ahindukha said. The camp was held during the launch of Egago Health Centre on Tuesday. Ahindukha said patients with serious conditions were referred to the county hospital in Mbale. Governor Moses Akaranga said the health centre will provide free medical services.
