State asked to address strike

THE government was yesterday told to revise its strategy to end the teachers strike. The East Africa Law Society president James Mwamu told President Uhuru Kenyatta that he has been using wrong strategy that has kept teachers in the street for three weeks. Speaking at Nyakoe Hotel during a one-day seminar for lawyers, Mwamu asked Attorney General Githu Muigai to properly advise the President on the matter. “There is need for the government to employ right strategies in ending the teachers strike instead of intimidating them,” he said.
