FARMERS in Busia county are set to earn Sh300million from harvests, Governor Sospeter Ojaamong has said. He said the introduction of mechanised agriculture has increased the county's food production standards. Speaking to the Star yesterday, he said the county government has supported 107 farmers through provision of seeds and fertilisers. “Farmers also received sorghum seeds worth Sh30 million and 50,000 tissue culture bananas.
