The High Court in Kisii yesterday denied an application to summon 10 new witnesses in a case challenging the election of Joel Onyancha as Bomachoge Borabu MP. Petitioners Peter Kimori and Albert Mbaka asked the court in July to compel the 10, all IEBC officials, to appear because they were connected with the election. Justice Edward Muriithi, however, issued summons for one of them, Norman Banza, to appear in court because he had allegedly sworn an affidavit in support of the their case.
