POLICE in Kisumu have launched a massive crackdown on boda boda operators after they beat up an officer. The operators on Tuesday evening pursued a police Land Cruiser GKA547E accusing the driver of causing a road accident. They cornered the unarmed officer who was alone in the vehicle at the KCB round about on Oginga Odinga Street and dragged him out of the vehicle. The mob then pelted him and the vehicle with stones.
