Some leaders in Siaya have questioned “illegal” recruitments in the county and called for an independent audit of staff. Yimbo East MCA Elisha Okumu, his Central Alego counterpart Leonard Oriaro and Community Initiative Action Group executive director Chris Owala said the Siaya government is not hiring staff competitively.
