MIGORI town residents are demanding an overhaul of area Kenya Power and Lighting staff over alleged laxity and inefficiency. Samson Ochieng, who led the residents in a peace walk, said frequent blackouts have made the cost of doing business unrealistically high due to reliance on generators. A KPLC employee, who asked not to be named, said they are overwhelmed by frequent blackouts caused by obsolete infrastructure.
