MOTHERS have been urged to visit health centres frequently for breast cancer screening to ensure they are safe from the deadly disease. The coordinator of Cancer Cancel Africa, a group of six volunteer doctors from England, Ronnie Jacobs, praised the Busia government for allowing them to carry out research on 800 mothers from seven subcounties. She was speaking after celebrations to mark the World Population Day in Bunyala on Friday. Jacods said the data they gathered will enable the county address the problems women are facing.
