A sacco has been started for more than 2,000 tuk tuk, motorcycle and bicycle operators in Kisumu town. Tupindi Sacco, sponsored by a foundation started by Kisumu Central MP Ken Obura, was launched at the Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground on Saturday. Sh2,035,000 was collected during a fundraiser after the launch. Obura said through the sacco, operators can buy their own bicycles and tuk tuks. “Some of the operators do not own bikes and tuk tuks.
