Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong has appeared before the Senate to answer questions about county finances. He was summoned by the County Public Accounts and Investment Committee over audit queries. Ojaamong’s appearance on Wednesday came a day after Kisumu’s Jack Ranguma honoured summons by the Senate. Many governors have been arguing that the Senate does not have authority to question them.
