Homa Bay Governor Cyprian Awiti has faulted the proposal to bar politicians from participating in harambees. Awiti said he supports calls for fundraising as a means of spurring development. “I support a chance to help in doing harambees in the country as it is the quickest way to pool resources for development,” he said.
