MIGORI Deputy Governor Nelson Mahanga has urged youth to engage in commercial agriculture to combat poverty. He said by taking up agriculture, youth will also boost the county’s food security. “We must be prepared to make our hands dirty in order to eat well. Migori county does not have a well-established industrial base and the only source of economic wealth is in our land,” Mahanga said. He was speaking yesterday during the Agricultural Society of Kenya Satellite Show at Lichota near Migori Town.
