RESIDENTS of Mumias subcounty have accused the county government of violating the tendering and procurement procedures in awarding a contract to the Mumias Distributors. Led by Kelvin Olengo (Namamali), Kholera’s Habil Mutimba, George Mulama (Koyonzo) and Boniface Osanga (Khalaba), the residents said the county government approved Sh200 million to help the firm clear outstanding farmers’ dues.
