Fire burns down Bolo Girls dorm

A fire burnt down two dormitories at Our Lady of Lourdes Bolo Girls in lower Nyakach, Kisumu county.The Friday evening fire destroyed property worth more than Sh3 million. Nyakach deputy county commissioner Joseph Magoha said the cause of the fire is still not known.He said police have launched investigations into the fire. “We had no other option but to order the school closed down indefinitely,” Magoha said.He said arrangements have been made to ensure form four students are accommodated to avoid disrupting their studies.
