The High Court in Kisii will today deliver a ruling on a petition challenging the election of Senator Chris Obure. Petitioner Charles Oigara had asked the court to find declare Obure's election null and void. He said Form 36 was not signed by county returning officer Shem Nyang’au. Obure said that the form produced in court was electronically generated and thus was valid. Oigara said he was barred from accessing forms 35 and 36 used in the election.
