Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has released the names of Busia county nominees. The list of the eighteen members was published in Kenya Gazette dated July 17. ODM has 10 nominees, Ford Kenya and UDF have three each while Labour Party of Kenya and Federal Party of Kenya have one each. Four nominees who represent marginalised groups are Charles John Otete and Mohammed Noor Ali (ODM), Veronica Pamba (Ford K) and Rachel Joy Wanga (UDF).
