THIRTEEN people from minority communities have sued the Migori government for discrimination. They have filed a petition at the High Court citing discrimination in employment and appointment to other positions. The 13, through their lawyer Cyrus Minda, filed an application under a certificate of urgency on December 31, at High Court in Kisii before vocational judge Esther Maina. The petitioners come from the Luhya, Kisii and Somali communities. The case will be heard on January 8.
