Nyanza education players want fair students selection

EDUCATION stakeholders in Nyanza have asked the government not to discriminate against private school candidates who sat last year’s KCPE exams. Carmeline Tado, the director of Temudo Academy in Kisumu, which produced two pupils with more than 400 marks and 14 others with more than 300 marks, said quota system policy gives public primary schools an undue advantage over private institutions. She was speaking at Temudo academy yesterday where she met parents and pupils who scored high marks in the 2013 KCPE results.
