Oparanya bribed the voters, witness says

KAKAMEGA governor Wycliffe Oparanya bribed supporters in a church during campaign, the High Court was told yesterday. Witness Stanslause Anami told justice Said Chitembwe that Oparanya gave out the money in a white envelope to a Mumias politician Justine Mutobera for the congregation at Makunga ACK church on February 24. In a video clip recorded by Anami and played in court on Wednesday evening, Shianyisa Khasani who was contesting senatorial seat was seen placing a white envelope on the table in front of Oparanya.
