AN acute water shortage in Amagoro division and its environs has raised fears of imminent outbreak of waterborne diseases. Teso North subcounty water officer Joseph Miyaywa yesterday attributed the shortage to low water levels following a drought. “For over one month, women have been waking up as early as 4am to trek to the seasonal Thomas Imaler stream to scramble for water,” he said. Redempta Imo, a resident, said the water is dirty and called for a quick solution.
