The Kenya Tourism Board will collaborate with Busia county in packaging three tourism sites to national standards. Speaking after paying a courtesy call on Busia Tourism Executive Hillary Makhulu in Busia yesterday, the board’s product manager Fred Okeyo said they had identified Kakapel Caves, Lake Victoria stretch and island and Agricultural Tourism with emphasis on Rice growing in Budalang’i. Okeyo said they will cluster counties to maximise on unique tourism attractions.“Such collaborations will open up new tourism frontiers to boost the growth of the industry,” he said.
