VIHIGA Governor Moses Akaranga has asked the national government to review fees for national schools by making them affordable. He said the school fees charged by national schools is too high for poor students. “I support the government’s decision to increase the number of national school but it beats the logic when deserved students cannot afford to join the schools due to high fees and their chances taken up by the rich,” Akaranga said. “Which poor parent can afford to pay Sh90, 000 charged by the national schools?” he said.
