The Homa Bay county assembly has approved 10 names of county officers appointed by Governor Cyprian Awiti. Five of the appointees had earlier been rejected by the assembly but Awiti forwarded their names again. They rejected on grounds that their interviews had not been conducted properly while others admitted said they were appointed to dockets they did not apply for.
