AFTER being in the shadows of St Monica Chakol for two consecutive years, Salvation Army Kolanya Girls in Teso North have bounced back. The school registered an impressive mean score of 7.3 in the 2013 KCSE compared to 6.7 in 2012. The school, which will be upgraded to national status in 2015, was third in Busia county after St Cecilia Nangina and Sigalame High. 140 students out of the 208 who sat the exam got C+ and above to emerge.
