The horticulture industry got major boost after the first company which will manufacture fertiliser in East and Central Africa was unveiled in Bungoma yesterday. The Webuye based Pan African Chemicals will be manufacturing more than 800 metric tons of Magnesium Sulphate monthly to boost flower and vegetable yields. Coffee and tea farmers who have been importing fertiliser from China and India will be getting it locally.
